Some of the many conditions treated by a dermatologist include: acne, skin cancer, melanomas, psoriasis, tumors, and dermatitis. Some dermatologists also include cosmetic care and enhancement in their practices.
The skin is the most visible and also the largest organ in the body. Because of this, it is vulnerable to many issues. A skin disorder can be limited to a problem with the skin itself or it may be a symptom of an underlying internal disease. Because of this, it is vital to have a diagnosis by a trained professional.
